Daniel began his youth work career in Residential Care while in London, 2001. He then returned to Australia and continued to work in Out Of Home Care until taking a position at Parkville Youth Residential Centre. Daniel spent the next ten years in Youth Justice and was a Unit Supervisor for various units and also spent time as a Program Coordinator building his experience in program development
Since 2011, Daniel has facilitated staff training with the Department of Human Services (DHS) staff in Out Of Home Care (OOHC), Residential Care and Disability sectors. Daniel also delivers Mediation, Life Coaching, Equal Opportunity sessions, Men’s Behaviour Change and group coaching session for numerous organisations and agencies.
With an enormous passion for empowering and working with youth, in particular young people who have been marginalised, disadvantaged or exposed to trauma and abuse. Dan has developed and delivered a range of anti violence and anti bullying programs in various settings and aims to co develop programs with young people in the future.
Family and friends are a large part of Daniels life, he also likes to watch documentaries and stand up comedy while trying and stay fit and playing various sports with friends.
