Callum McPherson

Workshop Presenter

Callum McPherson

Callum is a passionate advocate for young men's mental health, who was inspired to work in this space after enduring the suicide of a friend.

A journalist by trade and a former TV news reporter, Callum now dedicates much of his time and energy to hosting his award-winning young men's mental health podcast, 'Young Blood - Men's Health Matters'. Creating media content that promotes positive masculinity led to Callum having the opportunity to present these messages in person to adolescent boys through joining the Odyssey Program.

Callum believes in the importance of preventative health strategies and is motivated by the need to equip the next generation of young men with the ability to self-reflect and have respect for themselves and others.

Callum runs his own podcasting, filmmaking, presenting and consulting business, Young Blood Media, and also works part time as a media officer at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI).
